CODE OF BUSINESS ETHICS AND CONDUCT

This code is a benchmark for everyday activities of employees of the VECTOR Group. It is a tool which allows us, irrespectively of adopted position, to be a trusted and responsible Partner. Moreover, it reminds us that every aspect of our operations is important.

  • We conduct the business in a responsible, honest and reliable way and not allowing for such forms of abuse as: bribes, undue advantage, misappropriation, etc.
  • We keep our word and we comply with obligations.
  • We are focused on a dialogue, we are trying to perceive the perspective and needs of the various parties.
  • When we make a commitment, we are proactive, we operate with a perseverance and determination by working out the “win-win” approach.
  • We respect for the Human Rights. We take care of the privacy of our Employees and Associates and we do not allow for a retaliation against any people reporting problems with a discrimination, sexual harassment or improper practices regarding the work and employment.
  • Conducting a business we are adjusting to the requirements and regulations in the markets in which we operate.

  • We strive to maintain such workplaces, where nobody experience any form of a harassment or bullying.
  • We do not employ children, we do not benefit from a forced or slave labour and we meet the requirements for the minimum age for employment.
  • We acknowledge the rights of our employees to freedom of association and we enable religious practices.
  • We comply with provisions of the Labour Code and Work Regulations.
  • We accept, implement and comply with principles of the occupational safety and health. We take care of machines, tools, equipment, processes to ensure a safe environment and a comfort at work.
  • We provide for our Employees the necessary protective measures. We conduct trainings for the Employees concerning the safe working practices and emergency situations.

We respect the environment

  • We comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding environmental protection, we protect the environment, we save the energy and natural resources and we prevent from the pollution through the use of appropriate management and technology practices
  • We meet global and local legal requirements regarding the application, storage, collection and disposal of hazardous chemicals used during the manufacturing processes
  • We guarantee that materials / components for which we are responsible are completely consistent with the global provisions relating to the hazardous substances in products.

We take care of the security of information

  • We protect the confidential information, both VECTOR’s and our Customers, Suppliers, Business partners. We protect the personal data.
  • We respect the intellectual property.
