Sales Engineering Manager

You will have an opportunity to:

  • Conduct projects related to the integration and implementation of new technologies and solutions (GPON, Remote PHY, SDN, OSS/BSS) at operators – Tier 1 in Europe
  • Build customer relationships and transfer their needs to teams (R&D, Professional Services, external partners)
  • Recommend the best solutions taking into account technology, business and customer expectations
  • Take an active part in creating a strategy and implementation plan for new products / systems / services
  • Act as a tech lead during products implementations
  • Follow technological trends in telecommunication industry
  • Take part in business fairs and conferences

You will develop and apply:

  • Experience in IT (preferably in telecommunications) in the position related to implementation projects
  • Experience in conducting long-term projects integrating different areas of activities of telecommunication operator
  • Ability to enter into and maintain customer relationships – understanding of business and client’s strategic goals, ability to co-operate with a client, taking into account technological and business needs
  • Ability to read technical documentation
  • Ability to recommend optimal technical solutions
  • Advanced communication skills – ability to enter into and maintain business relations
  • Fluency in English which enables smooth communication with English speaking clients

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience in implementing systems connected with DOCSIS, PON, SDN or OSS/BSS technology
  • Degree in IT / telecommunications
  • Knowledge of German
